Tijs Michiel Verwest (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈtɛi̯s miˈxiɫ vərˈʋɛst], born 17 January 1969), known as Tiësto (/tiˈɛstoʊ/ tee-es-toh; Dutch pronunciation: [ˈcɛstoː]), is a Dutch musician, DJ and record producer of electronic dance music. Although he has used many aliases in the past, he is best known for his work as DJ Tiësto. On his latest productions, however, he has dropped the "DJ" label and is now known simply as "Tiësto", an artist name which is a twist of his childhood nickname.In 1997, he founded the label Black Hole Recordings with Arny Bink, where he released the Magik and In Search of Sunrise CD series. Tiësto met producer Dennis Waakop Reijers in 1998, and the two have worked together extensively since then. Reijers is credited as producer, writer, composer, or arranger on many of Tiësto's releases.In 1999 and 2000 Tiësto collaborated with Ferry Corsten to create Gouryella. His 2000 remix of Delerium's "Silence" featuring Sarah McLachlan exposed him to more mainstream audiences. In 2001, he released his first solo album In My Memory which gave him several major hits that launched his career. He ranked in the #1 poll position 3 consecutive times in the DJ Magazine Top 100 Popularity Poll from 2002 to 2004.

Sonny John Moore (born January 15, 1988), better known by his stage name Skrillex, is an American electronic musician and singer-songwriter. Growing up in Northeast Los Angeles and in Northern California, Sonny Moore joined the American post-hardcore band From First to Last as the lead singer in 2004, and recorded two studio albums with the band (Dear Diary, My Teen Angst Has a Body Count, 2004, and Heroine, 2006) before leaving to pursue a solo career in 2007.He began his first tour as a solo artist in late 2007. After recruiting a new band lineup, Moore joined the Alternative Press Tour to support bands such as All Time Low and The Rocket Summer, and appeared on the cover of Alternative Press' annual "100 Bands You Need to Know" issue.
After releasing the Gypsyhook EP in 2009, Moore was scheduled to record his debut studio album, Bells, with producer Noah Shain. However, he ceased production of the album and began performing under the name Skrillex. After releasing the My Name Is Skrillex EP for free download on his official MySpace page, he released the Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites EP in late–2010 and More Monsters and Sprites EP in mid–2011. Both have since become moderate commercial successes. On November 30, 2011, he was nominated for a total of five Grammy Awards at the 54th Grammy Awards, including Best New Artist and won three: "Best Dance/Electronica Album", "Best Dance Recording", and "Best Remixed Recording, Non-Classical".On December 5, 2011, the BBC announced that he had been nominated for their Sound of 2012 poll.On December 12, 2011, he was also named MTV's Electronic Dance Music Artist of the Year.
Skrillex has won a total of six Grammy Awards.
3. Swedish House Mafia ($14 million)
Scandinavian trio became first electronic act to headline Madison Square Garden.
Swedish House Mafia was a Swedish electronic dance music trio consisting of disc jockeys and producers: Axwell, Steve Angello, and Sebastian Ingrosso. The group officially formed in late 2008. The supergroup placed at number ten on the DJ Magazine Top 100 DJ Poll 2011 and have been called "the faces of mainstream progressive house music." In the DJ Magazine Top 100 Poll 2012 they were ranked at number twelve.On June 24, 2012, the group announced via their website that their current tour would be their last together.
4. David Guetta ($13.5 million)
French DJ crossed over into pop world with album Nothing But The Beat, added cash with endorsements for Renault and HP, as well as live concerts.

Later, he released Guetta Blaster (2004) and Pop Life (2007).
Guetta achieved mainstream success with his 2009 album One Love which included the hit singles "When Love Takes Over", "Gettin' Over You", "Sexy Bitch", all three of which reached #1 in the UK, and "Memories". The 2011 followup album, Nothing but the Beat, continued this success, containing the hit singles "Where Them Girls At", "Little Bad Girl", "Without You", "Titanium" and "Turn Me On".
David Guetta has sold over six million albums and 15 million singles worldwide.In 2011 Guetta was voted as the #1 DJ in the 'DJ Mag Top 100 DJs' fan poll.
5. Steve Aoki ($12 million)

6. Deadmau5 ($11.5 million)
Performing in a mouse costume and denouncing EDM didn't tarnish his earnings prospects.
Joel Thomas Zimmerman (born January 5, 1981), better known by his stage name deadmau5 (pronounced "dead mouse"), is a Canadian progressive-house music producer and performer from Toronto, Ontario.
Zimmerman produces a variety of styles within the house genre and sometimes other forms of electronic dance music. His tracks have been included in numerous compilation albums such as the 2007 In Search of Sunrise 6: Ibiza CD. The February 2008 issue of MixMag's music magazine included a free CD which was titled MixMag Presents: The Hottest New Name In Dance! DEADMAU5 Tech-Trance-Electro-Madness, mixed by Zimmerman. Tracks have also been included and presented on Armin van Buuren's A State of Trance radio show. His debut album, Get Scraped, was released in 2005, followed by others in the next few years.
As well as his own solo releases, Zimmerman has worked alongside other DJs and producers, such as Kaskade, MC Flipside, Rob Swire of Knife Party and Pendulum, Wolfgang Gartner, Bighorse, and on a number of releases, Zimmerman has partnered with Melleefresh. The release date is currently unknown, but an early 12" single produced on vinyl titled "I Don't Want No Other" was released by Joel Zimmerman under the alias "Dred And Karma".The 2006 album titled Deadmau5 Circa 1998–2002 was released using the alias "Halcyon441" and the collaboration with Joel Zimmerman and Steve Duda was under the alias "BSOD" (which stands for "Blue Screen of Death").

Paul DelVecchio (born July 5, 1980), publicly known as DJ Pauly D, is an American television personality and disc jockey.He is best known for being a housemate on MTV's reality show Jersey Shore.
In August 2011, he announced a pending three-album deal with 50 Cent's G-Unit Records and G-Note Records. This deal was later confirmed by 50 Cent on December 1, 2011.He is also the first of the Jersey Shore cast to get his own spin-off show, The Pauly D Project.
8. Kaskade ($10 million)

On October 20, 2011, DJ Magazine announced the results of their annual Top 100 DJ Poll, with Ultra Records, Kaskade placed at No. 30.DJ Times polls voted Kaskade "America's Best DJ 2011" and "America's Best DJ 2013".
Kaskade rose to prominence alongside producers deadmau5 and Wolfgang Gartner during the revival of American progressive house in late 2008-early 2009.
9. Afrojack ($9 million)
Dated sometime DJ Paris Hilton; doubled as pop producer for Pitbull and others.

He was listed as number 7 on the DJ Mag Top 100 DJ's of 2011.His 2010 entry into the poll at number 19 was the highest new entry of that year's list.He ranked at number 9 on DJ Mag's Top 100 DJ's of 2012.In 2013, he ranked at number 9 again.Afrojack's song "Take Over Control," which features Dutch singer Eva Simons, charted in 10 different countries.In July 2010, Afrojack created an Essential Mix for BBC Radio 1.He released Lost & Found December 22, 2010. In 2011, he was featured on Pitbull's No. 1 hit single "Give Me Everything" along with Ne-Yo and Nayer. He also contributed to the single "Run the World (Girls)" by Beyoncé.In January 2012 Afrojack received an European Border Breakers Award.Afrojack runs an imprint label named Wall Recordings, which has Dutchhouse DJs such as himself, R3hab, and Sidney Samson and Mayaadh signed onto the label.
10. Avicii ($7 million)
22-year-old Swede packed clubs, picked up Grammy nomination this year.
Tim Bergling (born 8 September 1989), better known by his stage name Avicii (stylized as ΛVICII and ◢◤) is a Swedish DJ, remixer, and record producer.Avicii ranked at #6 on DJ Magazine's annual Top 100 DJs poll in 2011, in 2012 he placed at #3 and again in 2013.He has been nominated twice for a Grammy Award for his work on "Sunshine" with David Guetta in 2012 and in 2013 for his song "Levels".
